Dead body found in Flushing

Police reported a dead body found in blood in Flushing. The call came in on Sunday around 7:30pm at an apartment on 39th Avenue and Union Street. A family member in Bayside called 911 after the 26 year old male victim was not responding to his phone all Saturday night. The phone ping leads to the apartment where police found the body wrapped in a sheet with blood. A female, the victim's possible girlfriend is under questioning. The city's medical examiner will determine the cause of death. Ongoing investigation.
