Dead body found floating in College Point

The NYPD is investigating a dead body found floating in the water around the vicinity of College Point earlier today. Calls came in from locals. ESY divers removed the body. The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Locals say the body of a female, 50's, Asian may be the missing person cops have been looking for but not confirmed.

Detectives are working on the incident.

The investigation continues.
