Dead bodies continue to pile up on Long Island

Both NCPD and SCPD reported multiple incidents involving vehicles while another one was found in the backyard of a home due to unknown cause.

On July 11 around 10am, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Farmingdale. Today, the pedestrian, female, 69 died of injuries.

On July 22 around 6:30pm, a motorcyclist was involved in a vehicle collision in Elmont. This is on Heathcote Road near 106th Avenue. Police confirmed the motorcyclist, male, 30, died from injuries.

Today around 5pm in Bay Shore, the SCPD were called for a dead body found in the backyard of a home. This is in the vicinity of New York Avenue and 18th Avenue.

Also, today, 13 pedestrians were struck by vehicles on Long Island and 4 are reported serious, critical conditions and likely conditions.
