Data update on NYC public schools

As of today, the city has not provided remote learning devices to 77,000 students who are still waiting while they are doing in-person learning. The budget is not in place pending more discussions on the table.

The fully remote learning is 54% as of Monday compared to 30% according to Dept of Education data.

The NYC mayor in a press brief today says 16,348 tests were conducted between October 9 and 16 among students and staff. 28 positive cases with ratio at 0.17%.
