14 more months to the NYC mayor s reign and now this

Residents are gathering to demand the NYC mayor to leave NYPD alone including defund, unmarked patrol, stop and frisk and the whole 9 yards after gun violence spiked in their neighborhood leaving them with so many bullet victims and dead bodies. Around 25 lawyers are working on the preparation of the lawsuit against the city and the mayor. The mayor's office has not responded but by the time the lawsuit goes to trial, the mayor's term is over until a newly elected steps in. Several lawyers stated it will be challenging task since the bills can be changed under city council with votes. As of now, 51 seats are up for the city council in NYC and the left, Democrat Socialists are campaigning hard to gain ground in control against the current Democrat machine.

This came after residents filed lawsuits in Minnesota, Oregon and Atlanta against their own government for lack of police protection.
