Customer receipts entitlement are confusing to most people

NYC has a law and that not most know of when it comes to receipt for items purchased. Any order between $5 and $20, customers must request for a receipt and not entitled to give out by businesses. Any purchase over $20 must give receipts to customers required by law. And any electronic items purchased over $100 must have the make and model for refund in the receipt. Other wise its illegal to sell such items in NYC without permit from Dept of Consumer Affairs.
