Cops are looking for a Uber driver for rape in Flushing

Police reported a woman was picked up from East 52nd Street and 2nd Avenue on Thursday, August 17 around 1:45am who was supposed to head to East Village. The female, 31, passed out in the back of vehicle and the 47 year old male driver took the victim to his house on Sanford Avenue near Frame Plaza. The woman woke up in the driver's house and was told he had sex with protection. Also, the driver told the victim that he will drop her off to her home if she doesn't report to police. The woman agreed by taking notes and at College Point and 41st Road, the victim got out of the car and called the police immediately. The driver has not been back to his home and police are searching for him. The victim told police she had few drinks. The investigation is ongoing.
