A new scam out there in NYC

NYPD are reporting scammers targeting lotto players by calling them pretending to be the owner of store claiming they won. With the new jackpot at $535 million for this Saturday night's drawing, up from $510 million, scammers are calling people by random. The best way to find out if the numbers match is to go to the store and scan under the machine or check online for numbers. No lotto winners will be asked for money up front for collecting from the winning ticket of any amount.
