Community Under Siege Demands Action held a press meet on Roosevelt Avenue

Today, there was a press meet held by the organization, Community Under Siege Demands Action on Roosevelt Avenue to combat organized crime entities, drug rings, human traffickers, prostitution, shoplifting syndicate, unlicensed street vendors, etc. Roosevelt Avenue from 102nd Street to 72nd Street is plagued with crimes where residents and businesses are demanding the city to clean up. The press meet was held on Elmhurst Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue where residents have called local elected officials having their children going to school facing mostly prostitution and drugs.

The local elected officials have not responded and also the Mayor is having a headache today after two of his close aides had their home raided by the FBI. One in the Hollis section of Queens. The FBI didn’t disclose the details.
