Coming soon to NYC a message system for hit and run culprits and reward for civilians

A new bill called Jean Paul aka DJ Jinx Paul is under development by NYC Council. The bill is similar to Amber Alert regarding hit and run. The law will have two steps with one for alert citywide for hit and run including to all smart phones and reward for information leading to arrest and prosecution of the culprit. The bill is under work in cooperation with NYPD to steer clear before going into effect. Mayor di Blasio is expected to sign to make it a law. A date has not been scheduled. Its been more than a year since Jean Paul died after hit and run in Brooklyn. His culprit has never been caught.
