Combo specials arrived for drivers in NYC

The NYC Mayor's Office stated a new speed camera design is going to replace all over NYC with more services to charge drivers. This time it's not just the school zone but all over the intersection also. The city has selected a new vendor from the existing one with advanced features from charging fines for speeding, red light violations, plate reading and coming soon with noise sound from music to mufflers. The next service to add in bus lane enforcement. Also, track stolen vehicles, DMW notices for expired insurance and plates coming soon.

As of now, speed, red light and sound enforcement are equipped separately along with bus lanes.

The goal is to service all in one place with the latest technology with selected vendors.

There are now over 2,500 speed cameras that continue to increase with installations every Thursday citywide. Speed cameras generated over $320 millions in fines between August 2022 and September 2023 with the 24/7 expansion which is not enough for the city.

Under the new Mayor, that number is expected to exceed a cool $1 billion and maybe more to cover the Universal Child Care plan from the campaign which requires easy $5 billion.

Enjoy.
