College Point Whitestone and Bayside streets to be co named

130th Street and 23rd Avenue in College Point will be co-named as Joe Femenia Way. Femenia was a civic leader and former president of College Point Civic. In Whitestone, 16th Avenue and Utopia Parkway will be co-named as Madeline Sershen Way. Shershen was a 17 year old female who died after struck by vehicle in June 2018. In Bayside, 207 Street and Northern Blvd will be co-names CW5 Howard C. Haider Way. Haider was a Chief Warrant Officer Five rank, the first in NYS.
