After going on an irresponsible spending spree, New York Democrats are now looking to raise NY's gas tax by $.55 to nearly $1 per gallon. This cash grab would make NY's gas tax more than 57% higher than any other state. Plus, increased taxes on heating oil, propane, and natural gas will raise heating costs by 26%.
