Chase resulted crash in NHP

Police reports chase from the LIE by Queens Blvd Exit after a driver refused to stop. A pursuit started leading to the Grand Central Parkway eastbound until New Hyde Park Road Exit. The driver decided to get back on the highway by exiting but this time the opposite direction. This is when the vehicle hit other vehicles and hit a tree by the ramp. The driver took off on foot from the vehicle. Police are searching for the suspect in the vicinity. Ongoing investigation.
