Carjacking to single crash fatality in Queens

The NYPD reported a carjacking incident this morning on Queens Blvd. This is by Greenpoint Avenue in Sunnyside.

Police say three suspects, males, Hispanics with one displayed a weapon pushed out the victim from a BMW around 6am.

Then took off with the vehicle toward an unknown direction.

EMS treated the victim on the scene.

On Saturday morning around 4am, a single accident resulted with one dead on the Belt Parkway. This is by 225th Street in Laurelton.

Police say the vehicle slammed into the underpass and both the driver and passenger got out of the vehicle standing by the shoulder. EMS transported both to local hospitals where one died and the other is in stable condition. Police didn't disclose who was driving.

Both incidents are under investigation.
