Camillus man charged with possession of child sexual abuse material

On May 27, 2026, the New York State Police arrested Justin J. Wallak, age 29, of Camillus, NY, on the following charges:

One count of Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child (Class E felony)

One count of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender (Class E felony)

The charges stem from a joint investigation involving the transmission of child sexual abuse material via a social media application. This arrest was the result of a joint investigation by members of the State Police Computer Crime Unit – Troop D, the Troop D Bureau of Criminal Investigation – North Syracuse, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the Camillus Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
