Cab driver robbed in Springfield Gardens

Springfield Gardens - Police were called to Rockaway Blvd and 144th Avenue reporting a robbery. It was a green cab where the driver was robbed of his vehicle. Police later found the vehicle on Rockaway Blvd near 157th Street. The cab driver was carjacked until perp took off. No arrests and the investigation is ongoing. Reported 4:30am.
