CIP closure and delays in Bellerose

The NYPD reported all lanes on the Cross Island Parkway northbound will continue to remain closed for investigation.

The incident was reported this afternoon around 12pm when a vehicle overturned with entrapment. ESU removed all and EMS transported the injured to local hospitals.

This is by the Union Turnpike and Grand Central Parkway Exit in Bellerose.

Police are rerouting traffic.

The investigation continues.
