Burglary incidents continue to rise in northeast Queens

Again, it's Bellerose and Glen Oaks reporting increase in burglaries according to the next data released by the NYPD.

According to the local precincts, burglaries are targeted by suspects posing as landscapers or handymen with construction uniforms mainly targeting Asian homes.

After burglary, grand larceny continues to increase at all time high including stolen autos.

According to the Queens DA's office, there were over 60,000 arrests made in the borough alone for the year 2024 with 48,000 arraignments.

As usual residents are advised to stay alert.
