Bullets update in Queens Village and Hollis

Police are on Jamaica Avenue reporting of multiple shots fired. This is by 224th Street in Queens Village at an apartment building. EMS reported no injuries.

Police tracked the suspect to 226th Street and took him into custody.

Around 10:30am, in Hollis, police were called to a home reporting of shots fired. Further investigation confirmed a male was shot.

EMS transported the bullet victim to a local hospital.

The suspect barricaded inside another location after escaping on foot. By 1pm, the suspect was apprehended.

Both incidents are under investigation.
