Bullets resulted shots fired and then murders in NYC

Over the weekend, there were more shots fired in NYC compared to bullet victims. On Sunday morning around 3am, there was a police involved shooting with one dead in Inwood, Manhattan. On Sunday night around 8:20pm, a woman was shot in East New York. On Monday morning, a male shot dead outside a nightclub in South Richmond Hill. This is on Atlantic Avenue and 127th Street around 4:15am. In the same incident, another male shot. Also last night in Ridgewood, a male was stabbed during a dispute. So far no arrests and all the investigations are ongoing.

According to the NYS Division of Criminal Justice, for 2021, the violent crime per 100,000 is expected to increase for 2022 when the preliminary data is released.
