Bike lanes taking the next step in NYC

A new pilot program will be announced by Mayor di Blasio allowing bicyclists to cross streets with new signals instead of red lights reserved for vehicles. NYC Dept of Transportation confirmed around 50 locations in the five boroughs will be placed starting summer. This is to keep the cyclists to move forth without the long wait time.
