NYPD, NYC Mayor and a slew of government officials newly appointed are working on the transitions. The new official announcements will be out if anyone issues to the media and public other than their swearing ceremonies.

So far the new NYC Mayor has not highlighted major challenges but is still deciding. The Governor is going full force with new proposals which will be updated this week.

The NYC Council has new members and most are working from home for fear of the RONA but they can be reached by phone or email. Just don't cough on the phone.

As for Nassau County, Uniondale witnessed the incoming executive with fanfare along with the new and wild crazy District Attorney who takes no BS. The new Nassau County Executive has stated bail reform will be kaput under his term to a loud cheer.
