Bayside vicinity is now averaging ten burglaries a week

Police reported for the week between August 27 to September 4, 11 burglaries reported in the Bayside vicinity. The areas are from Auburndale, Bayside Hills, Oakland Gardens to Bayside south of Northern Blvd and Bell Blvd.

As of this year, each week, there is a reported average of 10 burglaries. Most of the burglaries occurred from evening to early morning. Police advise all to lock doors and windows as a safety measure.
