Bayside resident died from injuries after struck by vehicle

Police confirmed the pedestrian struck by vehicle in Bayside has died from injuries. The victim identified as Lopamudra Desai, 82 of Bayside was crossing the intersection of Corporal Kennedy Street and 43rd Avenue when the incident happened last Saturday. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and continued to cooperate with the police.
