Bank style robbery targeting hotels in Queens

Police released surveillance pictures of a suspect wanted for armed robberies in hotels in Queens and Manhattan.

What the suspect does is display a gun and then pass a note to the reception in front of hotels demanding ransom like the bank robbery incidents.

On November 18, the suspect went into a hotel on Woodhaven Blvd in Flushing showing the note of ransom to the counter while displaying a gun. The worker refused and the suspect took off on foot.

The suspect approached several hotels and motels in Queens and Manhattan where some workers complied.

Police described the suspect as male, black in the 20's.
