Bank robbery in Franklin Square

The NCPS reports the details of a robbery that occurred on Tuesday, November 30 at 4:20pm in Franklin Square.

According to police, a male entered the Chase Bank located at 925 Hempstead Turnpike. The subject approached the teller and demanded money. The teller complied and the subject fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of US currency.

There were four employees and two customers present inside the bank at the time of the robbery. There were no reported injuries.

The subject is described as a male black, in his mid to late 50’s with an average build and he was wearing a green jacket.
