Bad accident on Union Turnpike with motorcyclist down

Police have closed one lane on Union Turnpike eastbound after Winchester Blvd in Bellerose reporting a motorcyclist down after vehicular accidet.

EMS reported the motorcyclist is in critical condition. Reported the motorcycle is shattered all over Union Turnpike after striking a pole involving a vehicle. Ongoing investigation.
