Average bill not affected by a fire in Queens

The FDNY reported a fire at the local ConEd power plant in Astoria this morning around 4am. This was at the Ravenswood Generating Station involving a transformer.

EMS reported no injuries and the power in the area was restored after a while which will not affect the utility bill.

Meanwhile, ConEd issued a new love message for all that the average electrical bill of $154 a month will now inch inching to almost $200 due to delivery costs. It will be around $500 during winter with the gas delivery cost not including usage.

A proposed $30 hike to set aside is also in the plan despite public hearings showing no impact from local residents as ConEd is investing in clean energy for the future to keep up with the latest service in the market.

The bill shows the difference and the NY Governor or the local elected officials will not be involved in protesting the hikes so please don’t complain.

New Yorkers have no choice but to obey and pay by working hard.

So far the meetings by NY Public Service Commission held no value to the ConEd's hike proposal seen this link,
