Armed robbery on Union Turnpike in Fresh Meadows

Police were called to Union Turnpike in Fresh Meadows and reported an armed robbery. The incident was reported on Friday around 9:30pm by 185th Street.

The suspect, male, black displayed a knife and robbed a victim while walking.

Also, the suspect tried to rob a victim earlier but after screaming, bystanders came to attention and left.

EMS attended to the victim.
