Armed robbery at the local supermarket in Nassau County

Around 9am this morning, the NCPD reported armed robbery at the local supermarket in North Bellmore. This is at Stop and Shop on Jerusalem Avenue. A lone suspect, male, black displayed a weapon inside the store and demanded cash.

From a witness, the suspect took off in a vehicle last seen heading to Route 106.

EMS reported no injuries.
