Armed robbery at Sunoco in Uniondale

Police are reporting armed robbery at Sunoco gas station in Uniondale. It happened on December 18 around 3:15am on Hempstead Turnpike. Two workers were inside when the suspect entered the store. The suspect displayed a gun and took off with cash toward Hempstead Avenue and Cunningham Avenue. Police described the suspect as male, 18 to 25, 5'10" about 160lbs. Ongoing investigation.
