Bicyclist dead after struck by vehicle in Maspeth

Police were called to the intersection of 48th Street and 54th Avenue reporting a bicyclist strck by truck dead. It happened on Monday, December 18 around 8am. The bicyclist, a 23 year old male was delivering food when it happened. The truck took off without stopping. Ongoing investigation.
