Alex what is five O million for Flushing

Answer - not enough and need more from taxpayers!

The NYS Pavillion, the landmark inside Flushing Meadows Corona Park is undergoing renovations with $50 million which is expected to complete by October 2026 for part time tours. However, it’s not enough for the new list to make it operational full time and will need more funding.

The restoration is being done by third parties, private contractors and selected city agencies under the watch of NYC Parks Dept.

The only thing the location is remembered for the film, Men in Black and nothing new happened every since except a massive location for the homeless and migrants staying overnight with comfort.

The lights were delayed and a new company is in place to make it work around the clock.

The park officials believe once its open with limited tours, another $100 million will be required to make it fully operational for a few years and then more funding needed for maintenance and so on.
