Advanced budget session to start soon on OASAS

The NY Governor loves you all and a new session is set under discussion for OASAS which stands for Office of Addiction Support Services for gambling addicts to expand the budget with taxpayer funds. With three casinos slated to start next year in downstate NY, gambling is an addiction which must be undertaken with state employees and non profit agencies to help all from financial difficulties, relationship turning sour, family crisis, chasing losses, being preoccupied with and spending too much time and/or money gambling and more.

Beside individualized support and referrals, the state is also seeking vendors to establish this operation to help all with taxpayer funds. The biggest program to expand is community support meetings with locations near the three casinos is being looked into as the first step as recovery centers.
