A shooting incident in Kew Garden Hills

Two people shot.

Police closed off 149 Street and 79th Avenue reporting two people shot. This was a robbery attempt of a vehicle that was followed from Main Street according to a witness.

EMS transported both bullets victims to a local hospital. Police described the suspects as males, blacks who took off in a silver Acura toward the Union Turnpike westbound heading to the Grand Central Parkway.

So far no arrests.

Ongoing investigation.

Update - Police has one in custody and the suspect is not cooperating with the police. One of the law enforcement states this is a dispute from a parking space.
