A pedestrian struck by vehicle on Old Country Road

Police are reporting a pedestrian struck by vehicle on Old Country Road and Carleton Street in Westbury. EMS transported the pedestrian to a local hospital in serious condition. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police. Ongoing investigation.
