Shot fired in Roosevelt with one barricaded inside a home

Police are reporting a man fired one shot and barricaded himself inside a home near Roosevelt Middle School in Nassau County. It happened around 9am today at East Clinton Avenue and Denton Place. The fired shot was in the school ground. The school is on lockdown after some teachers were inside preparing for the upcoming schedules. Reported the man confronted school custodian and then locked himself inside a home near the school with a gun. Ongoing investigation.
Update - Man arrested. Reported there was a dispute with the landscaper at Roosevelt High School. Fired 3 shots. School lockdown lifted.
