A pedestrian struck by vehicle died in Bellmore

The NCPD reported a pedestrian died after struck by vehicle in Bellemore. The incident was reported this afternoon around 2:30pm in the vicinity of Newbridge Road and Frisch Place.

The medical examiner transported the body pending autopsy.

The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police.
