A new bill drafted requiring massage parlors on NY to have license to operate

Local NYS Assemblyman Jose Peralta of Jackson Heights drafted a new bill on October 13 requiring massage parlors in NY to have license registered with NYS to operate. Under NYS law, massage parlors doesn't require license to operate like nail salons. The bill will be presented to Assembly on October 23. If passed, it will be then send to Senate floor to pass and then to the Governor to sign to make it the law.
