A day relaxed after the primary day in NYC

Zohran Mamdani, the winner of the Democratic primary for the NYC Mayoral race will start the new campaign for the general election with the same agenda. They are city run grocery stores all over NYC, $30 minimum wage, $70 billion for affordable housing, freeze the rent, free buses to all routes, no cost childcare and the best one, more social programs by defunding the NYPD.

As for the runner up, Andrew Cuomo has not announced the next move.

This is a great relief for the local Congress member, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez who can now go forth with the presidential run from speculation.

The current NYC Mayor is all set to announce the new campaign tomorrow for the general election. As for the Republican side, it's Curtis Sliwa.

As for Adrienne Adams, her seat will go to the new victor due to term limits. A new plan for the future has not been announced as of yet.

Only two candidates were announced for different positions.

The current Manhattan Borough President won the NYC Comptroller's primary while his seat was won by Brad Hoylman-Sigal. All other candidates secured their spots for the general election.
