50 years and 105 million later in Queens

Since 1973, local residents have been requesting to add a police precinct for their community of Rosedale, Brookville, Laurelton, and Springfield Gardens. On December 18, that dream became a reality costing the taxpayers around $105 million dollars from planning, architecture, environmental review and so much more. According to a local architect during the grand opening with balloons, the entire building was developed for $2.5 million dollars but who is auditing!

The 116th Precinct is located at 244-04 North Conduit Avenue.

The first event has been announced for the public to welcome for the Christmas.

This will minimize the 105th Precinct to focus more on Bellerose, Glen Oaks, Queens Village where crime is at an all time high.
