4 suspects wanted for beating man with hammer during robbery at Queens business

Police on Thursday released photos of four suspects wanted for beating a man with a hammer during a robbery at a Queens business last month.

It happened just before 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, in the vicinity of Union Street and Northern Boulevard in Flushing, authorities said.

According to officials, two 16-year-old boys and a 40-year-old man were inside of a commercial establishment when the group of suspects entered and demanded the victims to get on the floor.

The crew then brandished a hammer, struck the 40-year-old man in the head and stole approximately $1,000 from his jacket pocket.

The suspects then punched one of the teen boys in the face and pushed him on the ground, cops said.

The suspects then fled on foot eastbound on Northern Boulevard.

EMS transported the 40-year-old man to New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital in stable condition. The 16-year-old boy that was punched was treated on the scene for minor injuries.
