1 dead 2 injured in Jamaica Queens stabbing

A Queens neighborhood block party celebrating the Fourth of July ended with one man dead and two others injured early Saturday morning.

Police say three men in their 20s were attacked just before 2 a.m. on 112th Avenue near Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica.

One victim was slashed across his abs, and another was stabbed in his ribs. They're both listed in stable condition.

But a 25-year-old man who was stabbed in the chest — now identified as Jonathan McFarlane, of Queens — died at the hospital.
