1 and 1 bike accidents in Queens and Nassau

Yesterday around 9pm, police reported e-bike accident in Maspeth, Queens. This is on 53rd Drive and Maurice Ave. EMS transported the injured bike rider to a local hospital where he died. Police confirmed this was an e-bike that slammed toward a utilty pole.

Then an hour later in Elmont, the NCPD reported vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. This is on Dutch Broadway and Harriet Street. The motorcyclist is in critical condition as of today and the passenger is in serious condition.

Both investigations are ongoing.
