No guns allowed in Times Square

Starting September 1, Times Square will have signs as Gun Free Zone for all to read and follow. The temporary signs will be posted all around Times Square for all to behave. Once the NYC Council passes the legislature, it will be permanent. This came after the legal carry was not allowed when the Supreme Court knocked out the state’s concealed carry law for NY. More locations will be announced in the coming months. For Queens, Jamaica Avenue, Queens Blvd and Roosevelt Avenue are potential locations for signs.
