4 million dollars in grants approved for those facing deportation

Albany - $4 million dollars were added to the budget for immigrants facing deportation in NYS to have free representation including NYC. The funds will be used for New York Immigrant Family Unity Project (NYIFUP) which came to operation in 2014 for anyone seeking legal help. The organization is part of Vera Institute of Justic, a non-profit firm nationwide. Attorneys are provided free for eligible candidates facing deportation. Reported 4pm.
