An injury pedestrian crash occurred on Thursday afternoon at approximately 3:50 p.m. at the intersection of Greenpoint Ave and 39th St. Police and emergency medical services (EMS) quickly responded to the scene.

According to initial reports from the NYPD, a car hit the pedestrian while they were crossing the street. The victim was immediately attended to by EMS and transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
