You are all invited to drive thru in the new bridge between Brooklyn and Queens

The all new Kosciuszko Bridge first setup will open for public this Thursday, April 27 to drive thru between Brooklyn and Queens. The same night at 7pm, Governor Cuomo will be there for the grand opening. This is the first setup with 2 lanes in each direction. Then this summer, the old bridge next to it will be blown up to pieces and a second bridge will be built. By 2020, there will be two separate bridges, one for Queens and other for Brooklyn with four lanes each. The project cost $555 million dollars. pic by NYS DOT. Reported 9am.
