The NY Governor announced more funding for infrastructure to set up electric charging stations around NY including Queens.

JFK to LGA by scooter off you go and forget the cab, train, bus or walking.

Almost 200 stations will be added and most of it will be in Queens.

The deal will give the company Revel an exclusive with a local from the NY Green Bank loan of $60 million and the money will be recouped with use from locals for the infrastructure project.

As part of the new green deal, this will give NYC clean transportation initiatives by reducing emissions and more public transport use.

Already ride share apps who mainly depend on airport rides are nervous but the Governor stated it all depends on the use of the scooters. If more people use scooters for airports, then a new plan will be proposed to help rideshare app drivers (yeah sure).

LaGuardia Airport will have 44 stations and JFK with 24 for now and then expand after 2027 when demand is in place.

The same with Revel vehicles that's used to drive around the city will have more charging stations to expand the operation including airports.
